EBA has established cooperation with Kings of Mead, and EBA will be the honorary co-organizer of the prestigious European and world manifestation “European Conference of Mead Producers” – a gathering of mead lovers and honey producers.


Mead Kings, in cooperation with the European Mead Producers Association (EMMA) are pleased to announce the European Mead Producers Conference, from February 27th-28th, 2025 and March 01th 2025. in Krakow/Poland.
The Mead Madness Cup is at the moment the largest mead competition in the World. Only last year in competition 712 meads from all around the world.
This event should become a cornerstone for professional and local mead producers throughout Europe and the world.
The European Mead Producers Conference offers a unique platform for mead enthusiasts to improve their knowledge, network with fellow enthusiasts and participate in activities to enrich their knowledge. The conference will feature a series of lectures and presentations by industry experts, designed to provide valuable insights and encourage the exchange of ideas and experiences.
The President of the European Beekeeping Association, Mr. Boštjan Noč, expressed his great satisfaction at the establishment of this kind of cooperation, considering that he himself is involved in the production of honey drinks – champagne with honey, and on that occasion said: “EBA is committed to working towards its goals and we think it is important to support events who stand for the authenticity and quality of bee products, and EBA will always be supportive”
